Zion National Park

Discover Zion:
The heart of natural wonders and adventure

Welcome to Zion National Park, a natural wonder surrounded by stunning canyons and spectacular mountains. Here you'll experience the most stunning natural scenery and unparalleled outdoor activities in the American Southwest.

Zion Canyon: Red Rock Spectacular

Zion Canyon is the core landscape of the park. The canyon is about 800 meters deep and was cut by the Viking River over millions of years. When the sun shines on the red sandstone cliffs, the rocks change color over time, from deep red to golden yellow, which is amazing. Angels Falls Trail offers spectacular overlooking views and is one of the most popular routes for mountaineering enthusiasts to challenge their limits.

Classic hiking experience

Zion National Park is home to a variety of world-class trails suitable for visitors of all abilities and adventures. Among them, the Angel's Landing Trail is famous for its thrills. It climbs along the narrow ridge to the highest point and overlooks the beautiful scenery of the entire canyon. The Navajo River Canyon is a unique route for hiking in the river, allowing visitors to experience the power of nature in carving the canyon.

Zion's diverse ecology

The park has a variety of ecological environments, from desert to alpine forest, and is home to a large number of wild animals, such as bighorn sheep, mule deer and golden eagles. There is a wide variety of plant life, including drought-tolerant cacti, cottonwoods, and rare cliff plants. Exploring this land, you can not only admire the magnificent landscapes, but also discover the rich biodiversity.

A tourist destination for all seasons

Spring is the best time to explore Zion, when the rivers are full and wildflowers are in bloom, making the entire canyon more vibrant. In summer, it is suitable to hike in the early morning or evening to avoid the hot daytime temperatures. In the fall, maple leaves and cottonwoods change color, giving the canyon a beautiful golden and orange beauty, while winter brings a tranquil snowy landscape, allowing travelers to appreciate this sacred place from a different perspective.

Cultural and historical exploration

The lands of Zion National Park were once home to indigenous peoples, including the Anasazi and Paiute, who have lived here for thousands of years. Today, visitors can learn about the cultural background of this land and the discovery process of European explorers at the Zion Human History Museum, making this journey not only a visual enjoyment, but also an in-depth exploration of history.
